Adam Socha, M. Sc.

Adam Socha has worked for the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and its predecessors for over 32 years, as a senior toxicologist, supervisor and project manager. He is currently Science Coordinator in the Director’s Office of MECP’s Laboratory Services Branch. Adam’s duties have included providing toxicology advice to internal and external clients, serving as an expert witness in toxicology for the Crown, co-chairing the Federal-Provincial Committee on Environmental and Occupational Health and developing hazard identification methods for MECP, Environment Canada, Health Canada and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Adam received his B.Sc. in pharmacology and toxicology from the University of Toronto in 1983 and his M.Sc. in toxicology and physiology from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 1986.
